Scope of Work
The requirement is for the manufacture and supply of VALVE ASSEMBLY and VALVE, LINEAR, DIRECT components. Key requirements include:
- Design: Must conform to the design represented by CAGE Code 78062 (for both items, with reference numbers 3189050-21 for VALVE,LINEAR,DIRECT and 52137-001 for VALVE ASSEMBLY).
- Marking: Physical identification in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012.
- Mercury-Free: Materials must be free from metallic mercury and contamination, intended for use on submarines/surface ships. Any required inclusion of metallic mercury needs prior written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer.
- Changes: Strict procedures for changes in design, material, servicing, or part number, requiring written approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer.
- Quality Assurance: Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements and maintaining records for 365 days post-delivery.
- Packaging: In accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
- Distributors/Dealers: Must provide a letter from the manufacturer indicating authorized distributor status or a statement identifying as a dealer with OEM details.
