  • Technical specifications: multi-voltage switch, 1250 KVA, 60 Hz, 1250-gallon fuel capacity, sound attenuation, weatherproofing, and a control panel capable of paralleling within 10 seconds.
  • Provision of 5,200 gallons of diesel fuel (one fill-up), start-up assist, and necessary cables.
  • Vendor responsibilities include site assessment, setup of disconnect switches, installation of temporary conduit, routing and termination of cables, and comprehensive testing, including a 4-hour resistive load bank test.
  • The vendor must also provide VA operations training/demonstration and remove all trash and debris.
  • All work and delivery to 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond VA 23249, must occur during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays).

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.
  • Period of Performance: A base period from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with four subsequent option periods, potentially extending the contract through April 30, 2031.
  • Set-Aside: This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Offerors must be certified as an SDVOSB in the SBA certification database at the time of offer and award.
