Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide shuttle services for guests on Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), SC.

• Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision for shuttle services.

• Operate two bus routes on Shaw AFB.

• Transport up to 6,000 guests over a 3-day period.

• Buses will be assigned to one of two designated routes and will only stop at designated points on their route.

• A bus route map will be provided to drivers.

• Dates: March 27, 2026, through March 29, 2026.

• Hours of Operation: 0900 – 1900 daily.

• Location: Shaw AFB, SC 29154.

• Personnel: Provide qualified drivers.

• Vehicles: Provide buses suitable for transporting guests.

• Schedule Adherence: Buses will wait approximately 5 minutes at stops or until full before proceeding.

• Safety: Drivers must comply with base traffic laws, including seatbelt usage and speed limits (30 MPH unless otherwise posted). Use of cell phones while driving is prohibited unless using a hands-free device. No weapons, firearms, or ammunition are permitted on base.

• Identification: Provide a list of driver names at least 10 days prior to the event for pass and identification item acquisition. Return all identification media upon contract expiration or employee departure.

• Security: Comply with DoD 5400.7-R regarding For Official Use Only (FOUO) material. Safeguard government property.

• Reporting: Report any circumstances that may pose a threat to security.

• Emergency medical transportation and treatment on Shaw AFB will be provided by the government.

• The contractor shall reimburse the government for the cost of these medical services.
