This project requires the removal and replacement of two existing boilers, one in Building 2310 and one in Building 1610, with new, fully functional units integrated into the existing infrastructure. Key requirements include:

  • Furnishing and installing specific Lochinvar KnightXL boilers (Model KBX-1000N-M13 for Bldg. 2310 and KBX-0400N for Bldg. 1610) or equal, meeting salient characteristics such as a 7" touchscreen, 97% Thermal Efficiency, Flow Switch, Condensate trap Neutralizer, and 10:1 Turndown Modulating burner.
  • Connecting new boilers to existing electric, water, and gas lines, including new appliance regulators and venting.

  • Integrating new boilers with BACnet (over IP) cards and re-establishing existing ECS capability.
