This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for hand cutting (chainsaw) and piling of junipers on approximately 100 acres in the Brent Creek area of Fremont County, Wyoming. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is procuring these services.

• Perform hand cutting (chainsaw) and piling of junipers.

• Services to be performed on BLM-administered lands in the Brent Creek area.

• Specific tasks include cutting and piling juniper, lodgepole, spruce, and fir from designated areas.

• Stumps from cut conifers should be no taller than 5 inches and parallel to the ground.

• Slash piles should be constructed of tree limbs, tops, and boles no greater than 8 inches in diameter and no greater than 8 feet in length, with specific pile size and construction requirements.

• Work areas must be kept clean and free of garbage.

• Machinery must be equipped with approved spark arresters.

• Work will be performed using hand equipment (chainsaw); no heavy equipment is permitted.

• Designated cutting areas will be marked on georeferenced maps.

• Roads must remain open for vehicle traffic.

• Vehicle undercarriages must be cleaned prior to entering the work area.

• Work will be stopped during extreme fire danger or poor road conditions.

• Contract type: Firm-fixed price purchase order.

• Period of Performance: August 1, 2026, to September 25, 2026 (approximately 56 days).
