Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (AFRL/PZL) has issued Call 01 MASH under the Joint All Domain Persistent Adaptive Collaborative Technologies II (JADPACT II) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). This "Closed Call" solicits technical and cost proposals for Human-Machine Teaming (HMT) concepts leveraging AI/Automation to enhance Battle Management and Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) decision advantage. The Multi Decision Advantage Sprint for Human-machine teaming (MASH) event is tentatively scheduled for May 4–15, 2026, in Las Vegas, NV.
Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks innovative solutions to develop and adapt cutting-edge AI/automation approaches for Battle Management, aligning with the Transformational Model (TM) for Decision Advantage. The current scenario focus is on Control and Reporting Center/Contingency Response Element (CRC/CRE) Battle Management. The MASH events will assess the maturity of software services that complete specific decision functions, with success defined by a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP), associated lessons learned, and potential performance metrics. Offerors must describe their tool's maturity, how it functions as a containerized service, and integrates via a well-defined API using government-owned messaging standards.
