Key Requirements & Submission
- Quality Assurance: Contractors must maintain a quality system acceptable to the Government, in accordance with ISO 9001. Higher-level inspection is required.
- Inspection: The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. Production Lot Test/Inspection Reports are required per DD Form 1423, to be submitted to DCMAQAR for approval within 30 days of test completion. One unit per order or per 20 units (whichever is greater) must be tested at the contractor's facility, potentially with government witnesses.
- Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 applies.
- Drawings/Technical Data: Available via SAM.gov. Access requires an approved DD2345 and Data Custodian. Contact the buyer POC for access issues.
- Payment: Electronic submittal of Receiving Reports and Invoices through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) module of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) is mandatory. Contractors are encouraged to register for EDA at https://piee.eb.mil/.
