Scope of Work
This project requires replacing twenty-three (23) existing Edwards EST-3 fire alarm control panels (FACPs) with new Edwards EST-4 FACPs. The scope includes ensuring seamless integration with existing field devices, providing a redundant network, and comprehensive training and documentation. The existing FireWorks system will remain. Key tasks involve:
- System Design and Engineering: Site survey, submittal package, and AHJ approval.
- Equipment Procurement: EST-4 FACPs, interface modules, wiring, batteries, enclosures.
- Installation and Integration: Removal of old panels, installation of new, wiring, software programming, network integration, and system testing.
- Training and Documentation: As-built drawings, O&M manuals, user manuals, and quick guides.
- Project Closeout: Final inspection, system acceptance, and a one-year full warranty.
Contractors must have at least 5 years of experience in fire alarm and life safety systems, a minimum NICET II certification, and Edwards FireWorks System manufacturer's certification. A Colorado state fire alarm work license is also required. Work will be performed in a restricted area at CMSFS.
