• House A & B Styles: For Attachment A, vendors must complete both House A and House B. House A can include a mix of Transitional, Contemporary, and Modern styles. House B must use only one style, specifically Modern.
• RFI Extension: The RFI due date is February 20, 2026. To request an extension, vendors must email CameronCR@state.gov with a specific date and time. Extensions are not guaranteed.
• Attachment A Location: Vendors must use the most up-to-date link from SAM.gov for the RFI posting to access Attachment A. Relying on emailed or outdated links may result in missing critical information.
• Laminate Acceptability: High pressure laminates or printed laminates are NOT acceptable. All furniture must be constructed with hardwood veneers and solid woods, meeting middle to upper bracket quality standards. This excludes ready-to-assemble, particle board, plastic, PVC, or foil edge banding construction.
• Style Offerings: Respondents must be able to provide furniture in all styles outlined in Attachment A. House A requires Transitional, Contemporary, and Modern styles for a 3-bedroom house. House B requires Transitional style for a small-scale apartment, focusing on minimalistic design balancing contemporary and modern characteristics.
• Capability Statements: Submitting only a company capability statement is insufficient. Vendors must submit all required documents, including a completed Attachment A, to be considered an interested party.

• Technical Specifications: Compliance with numerous federal and industry standards (e.g., ANSI, ASTM, BIFMA, NFPA, UL) and statutes related to furniture safety and materials is required.

• Logistics: Vendors must possess a robust logistics system for packaging, delivery coordination, warehousing, transportation, and consolidation of overseas shipments, including managing high-volume orders and tracking.

• Rush Orders: Capability to fulfill urgent orders within specified timelines is necessary.

• Catalogs: Ability to create and maintain an online catalog with product details, pricing, and fabric swatches.

• Response Deadline: February 20, 2026, by 5 PM EST.
