Quick Summary
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Health Security (OHS), has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Enterprise Medical Surveillance and Occupational Medicine Services. This RFI is for market research to inform the acquisition strategy for a planned strategic sourcing vehicle (SSV) to provide standardized, high-quality occupational health services nationwide and in U.S. territories. Responses are due March 12, 2026, 5:00 PM ET.
Purpose & Scope
DHS OHS seeks to identify vendors capable of providing comprehensive occupational health, medical surveillance, and occupational medicine services. The planned SSV aims to standardize services across DHS Components, which historically procured these independently, leading to inconsistencies and inefficiencies. The objective is to ensure a mission-ready and resilient DHS workforce.
Key services include:
- Medical Surveillance: Pre-placement, baseline, periodic, and exit screenings.
- Specialized Programs: Pre-employment mental health screening, OSHA-mandated surveillance (e.g., Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lead, Asbestos, HAZWOPER).
- Clinical Services: Fitness-for-duty, independent medical exams, medical testing (audiometry, spirometry, EKG, labs), travel medicine, immunizations, wellness programs, occupational injury/illness evaluations.
- Technology: Fully operational FedRAMP-Ready occupational health record management system with secure web portal access, integration, and interoperability capabilities.
- Delivery: Onsite/mobile outreach services and embedded clinic staffing where required.
- Management: Enterprise program management, medical quality management, credentialing, and compliance with DHS directives.
Services will support a diverse DHS workforce, including law enforcement, emergency responders, and border security personnel, across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.

This is an RFI only; it is not a solicitation. Interested parties must submit responses using the RFI Response Form via the link provided in the RFI Attachment/Links section. Incomplete responses or those not submitted via the link will not be reviewed. Proprietary information should be clearly marked.
