Quick Summary
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Health Security (OHS) is conducting market research via a Request for Information (RFI) for an Enterprise Medical Surveillance and Occupational Medicine Services Strategic Sourcing Vehicle (SSV). This RFI aims to identify potential vendors and inform the acquisition strategy for standardized, high-quality occupational health and medical surveillance services nationwide. Responses are due March 12, 2026, by 5:00 PM ET.
Purpose & Scope
OHS seeks to establish a multi-award SSV to provide comprehensive medical surveillance and occupational medicine screening services for DHS personnel across the U.S. and its territories. The goal is to ensure a mission-ready workforce and standardize services currently procured independently by DHS Components. This vehicle will support compliance with DHS Medical Quality Management Directives and applicable regulatory requirements.
The planned SSV will cover services throughout the employment lifecycle, including:
- Medical surveillance exams (baseline, periodic, exit)
- Pre-employment mental health screening
- OSHA-mandated medical surveillance programs (e.g., Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lead, Asbestos, HAZWOPER)
- Fitness-for-duty and independent medical examinations
- Medical surveillance testing (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, EKG, lab panels)
- Travel medicine services and immunizations
- Wellness and health promotion services
- Occupational injury and illness evaluations
- A fully operational, FedRAMP-Ready occupational health record management system with integration capabilities.
- Onsite/mobile outreach services and embedded clinic staffing.
- Medical quality management, credentialing, and compliance.
