Building X-70 is scheduled for demolition, requiring all designated furniture to be removed by March 31, 2026. Key tasks include:
- Disassembly, transport, and reassembly of furniture, ensuring it is in equal or better condition.
- Providing 10-20 moving boxes/crates for each tenant's personal effects.
- Coordinating with Tenant Points of Contact (POCs) to identify furniture for relocation.
- Providing all necessary vehicles, equipment, and personnel.
- Specific items include storage racks, wheeled stairwells, pallet stackers, and a 518-pound safe. Only CEP-87 has a functional elevator for heavy items.
- Cubicles are hard-wired and require disconnection and re-wiring. Existing furniture in IE may require disposal prior to new furniture installation.
