This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of flooring and cabinets in the OR Sub Sterile Rooms 2A-211A and S1-207A at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The project also includes the removal and capping of steam sterilizers and built-in blanket and fluid warmers.

• Removal of existing vinyl flooring (approx. 123 SF in 2A-211A and 99 SF in 2A-207A).

• Removal and disposal of two bottom cabinets and two top cabinets in 2A-207A, and a large sink in 2A-211A.

• Removal and disposal of abandoned steam sterilizers and built-in blanket and fluid warmers.

• Installation of new stainless steel cabinets of equal or greater quality.

• Installation of two electrical receptacles on the wall.

• Repair of any damage to existing walls after cabinet removal.

• Caulking, taping, mudding, and epoxy painting of walls and frames.

• Installation of new seamless welded vinyl flooring with integrated cove base.

• Negative pressure containment shall be installed prior to demolition and maintained throughout the project.

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed price.

• Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
