Wage Determination

Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure a Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) system for the Aerospace Fuels Laboratory at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This system will support the analysis of unknown trace contaminants and Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) content in fuels.

• Procurement of a GCMS system configured for analysis of liquid samples.

• System must support capillary columns.

• Oven capable of ramping at 35 °C/min or higher up to 200 °C, with a maximum operating temperature of at least 430 °C.

• Includes split/splitless inlet with electronic pressure control.

• Autosampler capable of holding at least 16 samples.

• System must support both helium and hydrogen carrier gas, including necessary sensors, safety shutdowns, and filter kits for both.

• System to be configured for standard 120V single phase, 60 Hz electricity.

• Includes a single quadrupole mass spectrometer configured for electron ionization, capable of acquiring both single-ion and scan mass spectra simultaneously.

• Includes all necessary vacuum pumps and a computer for system control, with monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

• Computer must include control software and licenses, NIST mass spectral libraries, and the ability to search instrument data.

• Delivery Lead Time: 12 weeks after contract award.

• Place of Performance: Aerospace Fuels Laboratory at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

• Training: On-site training and familiarization for up to 3 people, at least 1 day.

• Installation: On-site installation and validation by qualified staff directly employed by the vendor.

• Warranty: One (1) year.

• Delivery Procedures: Standard approved packaging methods. All shipping costs and insurance are included in the contractor's proposal. Vehicles larger than a large pick-up truck require inspection by the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Commercial Vehicle Delivery Gate (CVDG).
