Scope of Work
This combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) seeks vendors to provide:
- Fifty (50) unassembled sunshade units, approximately 10' x 12', with a minimum height of 6' 5" on the shortest side.
- Structures must be complete, painted, and ready for assembly with simple tools.
- Fasteners and metal parts must be corrosion-resistant.
- Primarily wood construction (Cedar or ground-contact pressure-treated wood), rot-resistant.
- Minimum 4.6"x4.6" corner support columns (4"x6" or 6"x6" acceptable).
- Designed to be safe for use with grills or other cooking equipment underneath.
- Must withstand winds over 80 mph (Beaufort Scale 12).
- Roof must be solid, ultraviolet-resistant, weatherproof, with a five to fifteen-degree slope, using corrugated metal panels with drip edges.
