Scope of Work
This solicitation requires the provision of fifty (50) unassembled sunshade units, approximately 10' x 12' with a minimum height of 6' 5" on the shortest side. Key specifications include:
- Construction: Primarily wood (Cedar or ground-contact pressure-treated), rot-resistant, with minimum 4.6"x4.6" corner support columns.
- Durability: Must withstand winds over 80 mph and be safe for use with cooking equipment. Fasteners and metal parts must be corrosion-resistant.
- Roofing: Solid, ultraviolet-resistant, weatherproof corrugated metal panels with drip edges, featuring a five to fifteen-degree slope.
- Assembly: Units must be complete, painted, and ready for assembly with simple tools. The vendor shall provide a Bill of Materials/Parts List, photos/diagrams of a completed structure, and all assembly hardware (excluding ground mount brackets).
- NPS Responsibility: NPS will be responsible for mounting/installing the units, including the purchase of ground mount brackets. No engineered stamps are required, but the vendor must warranty structures for one year against wind damage not exceeding specified SOW speeds.
