This includes recommending improvements and performing a 100% survey of fire and smoke barrier walls above accessible ceilings (excluding patient-occupied rooms). All work must adhere to the most current editions of NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) and NFPA 99 (Healthcare). Key deliverables include documenting deviations, providing redlined floor plans of deficiencies, a minor deficiency list, consultation support, and final electronic/hard copies of all documents and annotated drawings. The contractor will also conduct a detailed fire and smoke barrier wall inspection, identifying non-compliant penetrations with narrative descriptions and photographs.

Eligibility & Requirements
This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offerors must be VIP-listed SDVOSBs at the time of offer and award. Proposal requirements will include a Project Schedule, Draft Documentation Submittal (including inspection methodology), Lead Surveyor Qualifications, Team Member Qualifications, and Examples of Previous Experience (10 references, with 2 from VA facilities). The assessment team must have experience completing at least ten Life Safety Assessments at medical facilities, including two at VA Medical Facilities. The Lead Surveyor must hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering and serve on an NFPA Technical Committee for NFPA 99 or NFPA 101. Strong knowledge of NFPA 99, NFPA 101, LTCI, TJC requirements, and the TJC e-SOC database is essential.
