Quick Summary
The Department of the Army is soliciting proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for preventative maintenance services on High-Volume Low-Speed (HVLS) industrial fans at the 128th Aviation Brigade's operational footprint at Fort Eustis, Virginia. This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be awarded using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. Quotes are due by 12:00 PM CST on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) services for HVLS fans, including a manufacturer-recommended 21-point inspection covering cleaning, hardware checks, fluid levels, safety cables, structural integrity, electrical connections, and VFD settings. Services are to be performed once per fan during the contract period, Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1700 hours, excluding Federal Holidays. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel, supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and OSHA-approved lift capability. Coordination with 128th Aviation Brigade Facilities Managers is required for scheduling and access, potentially requiring 48-72 hours' notice for training device relocation. Initial full oil changes may be required as fans have not been serviced in over two years. Repair work is excluded and requires separate quotes.
