• Repairs and Out-of-Scope Work: Minor adjustments and calibrations to bring devices into compliance are included. Repairs, parts replacement, or corrective maintenance are excluded and must be quoted separately. Contractors should provide written repair recommendations only.
• Emergency Call-Out Services: Emergency responses or on-call services are not included in this contract.

This amendment clarifies requirements and does not appear to modify proposal deadlines or submission rules.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for Boiler Safety Device Testing/Inspection Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The services are required at the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center in North Little Rock, AR, and the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR.

• Semi-annual inspection and testing of safety devices on six (6) high-pressure (over 15 psig) steam boilers.

• Semi-annual burner and instrument inspection, testing, and calibration.
