Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, parts, software, tools, equipment, and travel to perform a PMI program for sterile storage cabinets used in clinical areas. Services must be performed in strict accordance with specifications, the statement of work, and all applicable VA, federal, and state regulations. All parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Key Requirements / Deliverables
- Annual preventative maintenance and inspections for sterile storage cabinets.
- Replacement of HEPA filters, humidifier components (water reservoir, pump, hoses, tubing), UV bulbs, vapor supply tubes, and keyless lock batteries.
- Checks for airflow, filter integrity, static pressure, humidifier operation, thermoelectric cooler, electric heater, recirculation fans, heat rejection fans, cabinet pressure controller, temperature/humidity/pressure sensors, electrical cords, door seals, gasketing, and UV bulbs.
- Emergency on-line/phone support response within business hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM MST).
- Emergency on-site service response as soon as staff is available during business hours.
- Contractor must possess HVAC certification and relevant State licensure.
- A detailed quality control plan, maintenance procedures, and list of tools/parts are required.
