Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive DME cleaning and janitorial services, supporting Environmental Management Service (EMS) housekeeping operations. Key requirements include:
- Provision of 12 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) employees, working 40 hours per week.
- Coverage for 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), 7 days a week, including federal holidays.
- Performance of DME cleaning in designated areas according to VA EMS procedures.
- Adherence to Joint Commission, OSHA, EPA, and all applicable local, State, and Federal laws and regulations.
- Contractor employees must undergo VA PIV background investigation and obtain PIV cards.
- All cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided by the VA.

- Period of Performance: A Base Year (May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027) plus four (4) Option Years, extending through April 30, 2031.
