Quick Summary
The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), specifically SOCKOR, is soliciting proposals for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to provide comprehensive hotel services for the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) Marriage Retreat and Spiritual Resiliency Event in Sokcho, Gangneung, or Yangyang coastal region, South Korea. This UNRESTRICTED solicitation requires a contractor to supply all labor, supervision, meals, lodging, meeting facilities, and transportation for approximately 76 participants. Proposals are due May 15, 2026, at 10:30 p.m.
Scope of Work
The selected hotel will host the event from June 18 to June 20, 2026, with participants arriving on June 17 and departing on June 20. Services include:
- Lodging: Approximately 22-25 rooms for 76 guests (47 adults, 21 children 6-12, 7 children 3-5, 10 infants 0-2, 2 teens 13-18), accommodating 23 family configurations. Splitting families of 6-7 into two adjacent rooms is acceptable.
- Meals: All meals and snacks for three childcare sessions. Children must dine with parents; separate dining is not acceptable.
- Meeting Facilities: Dedicated spaces for the retreat.
- Transportation: Two 45-seat buses for round-trip transport between Pyeongtaek and the hotel on June 18th and June 20th. A time plan aligning with hotel check-in/out is required, with one cultural facilitator per bus.
- Amenities: Direct beach access without road crossings (crossing streets is a "no-go"). Dedicated children's play areas are vital; lack of family-centered features is disqualifying. Two dedicated, connected/adjacent childcare rooms easily accessible from meeting rooms are mandatory. Access to both infinity pool and waterpark must be included.
- Security & Support: On-site AED is acceptable; dedicated medical staff not required. Lack of dedicated security personnel requires compensating on-site security measures. Late check-out is preferred, or secure luggage storage is required.
