The contractor will perform 92-Day Periodic Safety Inspections on 15 Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) locomotives located at seven Army installations across the continental United States. Services include inspections in accordance with 49 CFR Part 229, completion of required documentation (FRA Form F6180-49A, PM worksheets), participation in coordination meetings, and associated support. Personnel must be Qualified Mechanical Inspectors (QMI) with expert knowledge of EMD locomotives, at least five years of experience, and capability to perform brake tests on NYAB CCB-26 and 26L/26NL brake systems. Travel is required.

Evaluation
Award will be made to the responsible quoter representing the best value to the Government, considering price and non-price factors.
