To improve the safety and operational capability rate of the U.S. Army's fleet of 15 conventional diesel locomotives by performing federally mandated periodic safety inspections and associated tasks.

• Consumable parts like brake shoes, filters, and light bulbs will be available at each installation. If unavailable, the contractor will note this on the PM worksheet, and the installation will replace them when supply is replenished.
