Key tasks include assigning appropriate ICD, ADT, CPT, HCPCS, E/M codes, and modifiers; entering data into the RPMS PCC Package; and monitoring incomplete visits. Coding timelines are strict: Outpatient visits within 4 business days and Inpatient visits within 10 business days of discharge. Quarterly coding quality audits may be requested.
