DLA-Aviation is issuing this source sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a minimum quantity two (2) hard bearing, dual drive, horizontal balance machines that meet or exceed the Society of Automative Engineering (SAE) 1000 class specifications, with a potential quantity option of 2 additional in a follow on fiscal year.  In addition to the machines, turnkey services are required as follows: training, technical data (i.e. manuals, drawings), rigging & installation, foundation, and shipping.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by closing date listed on this posting. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to avnipemarketresearch@dla.mil with Subject Line: ATTN 26-13-1100.

Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. Please include the notice ID number in your submission heading.

DLA Aviation intends to issue one request for proposal for a minimum quantity of 2 hard bearing, dual drive, horizontal balance machines with potential option for QTY . Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than the stated closing date/time.

DLA Aviation is requesting industry input into the feasibility of the government’s requirements. In your response, please provide:
