Scope of Work
This requirement is for a minimum of two (2) new, commercially available hard bearing, dual-drive, horizontal balancing machines.
- Machine 1: Must meet or exceed ARP 4048, Class 1000 specifications.
- Machine 2: Must meet or exceed ARP 4048, Class 3000 specifications. Both machines must be fully capable of calibration and certification to SAE AS8617 standards. Turnkey services include:
- Rigging and installation at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City.
- Foundation work (concrete pad required for each balancer).
- Training for personnel.
- Technical data (manuals, drawings, specifications, maintenance instructions, spare parts lists).
- Shipping. The contractor is responsible for complete installation, qualification, and certification testing, including providing a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and an Acceptance Test Plan (ATP). The government will provide 480VAC electrical supply and 100 PSI compressed air within 30 feet. Site-specific details from Attachment A indicate work in Building 3001, F117 Shop and F100 Rotor Shop, with considerations for foundation thickness, existing utilities, and site preparation.
