The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support (Richmond) intends to issue a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation to procure two (2) Engine Balancing Machines for the Tinker Air Logistics Center in Oklahoma. Scope of Work

The requirement is for two (2) hard bearing, dual-drive, horizontal balancing machines designed for aerospace jet engine rotors. Machine 1 must meet or exceed ARP 4048, Class 1000 specifications, and Machine 2 must meet or exceed ARP 4048, Class 3000 specifications. Both machines must be capable of calibration and certification to SAE AS8617 standards.

The contractor will be responsible for turnkey installation at Tinker AFB / Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC), including rigging, training, IUID Tag, tooling, technical data, shipping, and foundation work. This includes providing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and PPE. The government will provide 480VAC electrical supply and 100 PSI compressed air within 30 feet of the installation site. Site-specific details from Attachment A indicate work at Building 3001, F117 Shop and F100 Rotor Shop, requiring assessment of existing foundations and utilities, and potential DRMO for existing equipment.
