Scope of Work
The comprehensive scope covers approximately 197 acres across NLR's South Table Mountain (STM), Flatirons, and South Table Energy Park (STEP) campuses in Golden, CO. Services include:
- Landscape Maintenance: Weed control (mechanical, hand removal), mowing (grassland, lawn, fire protection, PV/solar arrays), trimming, edging, fertilizing, soil amendments, aeration, overseeding, plant/shrub/tree maintenance, mulch/rock application, flowering plant care, debris removal (including from detention ponds), and leaf removal.
- Irrigation System Management: Full maintenance and minor repairs for the WeatherTRAK smart irrigation system, including winterization, spring start-up, general maintenance, repairs (within 48 hours), and ET programming.
- Environmental Compliance: Adherence to environmentally responsible and sustainable practices, integrated pest management, soil health preservation, and use of native/climate-adapted plants. Compliance with Colorado APCD Regulation No. 29 (preference for electric equipment) and specific NLR Maintenance Plans (Weed Management, Landscape Restoration, Wildland/Urban Interface Defensible Space).
Contract Details
- Type: Time and Materials Subcontract
- Duration: One (1) base year plus four (4) one-year option periods (total 60 months).
- Estimated Value: Approximately $750,000.00 annually, with a total potential of $3,750,000.00 if all options are exercised.
- Set-Aside: No Small Business Set-Aside. Open to both Small and Large businesses. NAICS Code 561730 (Landscaping Services) with a $10 Million size standard.
- Place of Performance: NLR campuses in Golden, CO. Offerors must have a bona-fide office within 50 miles of NLR's STM Campus or demonstrate capability.
