Scope of Work
The primary objective is to preserve and maintain NLR's campus open space areas across its South Table Mountain (STM), Flatirons, and South Table Energy Park (STEP) campuses. This includes minimizing environmental impacts, maximizing resource efficiency, and enhancing native vegetation and wildlife habitat through environmentally responsible and sustainable practices.
Key services include:
- Comprehensive Landscape Maintenance: Weed control (mechanical means, no spraying by subcontractor), mowing (including fire protection and solar arrays), trimming, edging, fertilizing, soil amendments, aeration, overseeding, plant/shrub/tree maintenance (pruning, winter watering), mulch/rock bed maintenance, flowering plant care, debris removal (Central Arroyo Detention Pond), and leaf removal (raking/vacuuming, no leaf blowers).
- Irrigation System Maintenance & Repairs: Management of the WeatherTRAK smart irrigation system, winterization, spring start-up, general maintenance, minor repairs (Time and Materials basis), and ET programming.
- Environmental Compliance: Adherence to Colorado APCD Regulation No. 29 (preference for electric equipment), NLR's Weed Management Plan, Landscape Restoration and Maintenance Guide, and Wildland/Urban Interface Defensible Space Management Plan.
Contract Details
