Activities include herbicide applications (targeting B- and C-listed weeds on ~5.3 acres), mechanical weed management (mowing/hand-pulling), and restoration. Biocontrol agents (seed head feeding weevils) were released along the western boundary to combat knapweed.

• South Table Mountain Campus: Herbicide applications targeted noxious weeds in landscaping and native grass areas (~12.3 acres). Mowing and mechanical activities were used for berms and sidewalks. Monitoring for Myrtle spurge and jointed goatgrass infestations occurred, with some manual removal of Myrtle spurge.

• STEP Campus: Weed management focused on rock trim, utility boxes, and pavement cracks, with ~0.15 acres treated using pre-emergent herbicide.

• General: Herbicide applications are typically subcontracted. Site Operations staff may use over-the-counter herbicides for gravel areas.

• Off-Site Transmission Line Right-of-Way: Monitoring and potential treatment of a 40-foot width along the access road.

• Flatirons Campus: Includes pre-emergent/total vegetation control for gravel and landscaped areas, roadside mowing, drainage swale management, and specific treatments for diffuse knapweed, Canada thistle, common mullein, sulfur cinquefoil, and leafy spurge.
