• A site visit is scheduled for March 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at 729 Lily Lake Road, Oceanville, NJ 08231. Contractors must RSVP to christa_garrigas@fws.gov no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit.

• No questions will be answered at the time of the site visit.

• Performance and payment bonds are required within 10 calendar days after award.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Reroofing: The primary task is to replace the existing asphalt shingle roof system on the Bunkhouse Building, which has a roof area of approximately 2,200 square feet. This includes removing and disposing of existing roofing materials, underlayment, and flashing.

• Materials: New asphalt shingles (GAF Timberline HDZ or approved equal), underlayment (GAF Deck Armor Premium Vapor Barrier or approved equal), and flashings are required. Specific product standards and warranty requirements are detailed.

• Plywood Sheathing: Replacement of deteriorated plywood roof sheathing is an additive item. The quantity is estimated, and the contractor will be compensated for the actual square footage installed via contract modification.

• Gutters and Downspouts: Removal and reinstallation of existing gutters and downspouts are required during the roofing replacement.

• Solar Panels: Existing solar panels and rails must be removed and placed near the house for future Government use; they are not to be reinstalled.

• Submittals: Prior to installation, the contractor must submit product literature for roof shingle materials and plywood sheathing for written approval.

• Cleanup: Daily cleanup of rubbish and waste is required. The premises must be left clean upon project completion.

• Installation Conditions: Shingles shall not be applied when the air temperature is below 50 degrees F.
