- Installation of new asphalt shingles (GAF Timberline HDZ or approved equal), underlayment (GAF Deck Armor Premium Vapor Barrier or approved equal), and flashings. A full-coverage secondary waterproofing barrier is required, with Ice and Water shield at eaves and rakes, and synthetic deck protection on remaining roof deck surfaces.
- Removal of 22 existing solar panels and associated hardware; these will not be reinstalled but placed near the house for government use.
- Removal of a metal stove pipe protruding through the roof, with replacement of sheathing or patching for structural soundness.
- Removal and reinstallation of existing gutters and downspouts.
- Replacement of deteriorated plywood roof sheathing as an additive item, compensated via contract modification. All work must comply with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and adhere to specific material standards.
