The scope includes developing and obtaining approval for a project-specific Mitigation Plan, protecting existing infrastructure, transporting all scrap metal and waste to a licensed disposal/recycling facility, obtaining necessary permits, providing disposal documentation, sorting recyclable metals, site cleanup, and a post-demolition safety inspection. Compliance with numerous federal, state, local, and DoD/Navy regulations, including security and OPSEC, is required. Proceeds from scrap metal sales will be factored into the contractor's price proposal.
