• Ground application of herbicides and emergent growth control.
• Application to designated areas such as sidewalks, crevices, concrete surfaces, abutments, access roads, esplanades, fence lines, stone protection, rip rap, roadsides, and parking areas.
• Extermination and removal of nuisance insects (wasps, hornets, yellow jackets) observed within maintained areas.
• Use of general-use pesticides for upland locations and glyphosate or imazapyr-based active ingredients for aquatic/adjacent areas, all with a pre-emergent component to prevent regrowth through September 30th.
• All applications must be supervised by a state-certified applicator and adhere strictly to manufacturer's labels, with a spray pattern indicator (dye) used.

Performance Standards

• Achieve and maintain a 95% kill rate of target vegetation.
• Prevent re-growth from the time of application through at least September 30th of the application year.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price (RFQ).
• Period of Performance: A Base Year and two Option Years, generally spanning April 1 to March 31 annually, from 2026 to 2029. Pesticide application is to occur annually between May 15th and June 15th, weather permitting, with final schedules requiring COR approval.
