• Develop, execute, and manage the Catholic RE program under the guidance of the Catholic Priest.

• Coordinate and ensure catechists are trained for Archdiocese of the Military Services (AMS) certification and to prepare youth and adult catechetical programs, including sacramental preparation.

• Serve as the Catholic RE Volunteer Supervisor, developing volunteer position descriptions and providing orientation and training.

• Maintain religious education enrollment and weekly attendance reports.

• Schedule, plan, and conduct special religious education programs (e.g., volunteer appreciation, end-of-year activities).

• Coordinate with the Wing Chaplain, Deputy Wing Chaplain, and Catholic Priest.

• Attend chapel staff meetings and Catholic Community Advisory Council meetings.

• Prepare publicity for the Catholic RE program.

• Prepare and submit annual budgets for the Catholic RE Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund (CTOF) and Appropriated Fund (APF).

• Coordinate logistical needs for Catholic RE and submit curriculum orders.

• Reserve chapel facilities and ensure they are maintained, cleaned, and secured.

• Ensure the RE facility is opened prior to classes and supervised until children depart with guardians.

• Develop a working knowledge of sacramental policies and provide RE statistical data in the absence of the Catholic Priest.

• SS-1: Provide scheduled services (No more than 2 customer complaints or 2 contract deficiencies per month).

• SS-2: Maintain office hours (No more than 2 customer complaints or 2 contract deficiencies per month).

• SS-3: Maintain attendance reports (No more than 2 customer complaints or 2 contract deficiencies per month).

• SS-4: Ensure volunteer service and background check compliance (No more than 1 customer complaint or 1 contract deficiency per month).

• SS-5: Attend required meetings (No more than 2 customer complaints or 2 contract deficiencies per month).

• SS-6: Ensure facilities are suitable for instruction (No more than 2 customer complaints or 2 contract deficiencies per month).

• Place of performance: F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

• Telework is not permitted.

• Normal hours of operation: Sunday through Saturday, 0800-1630. Extended hours may be approved by the CO at no additional cost.

• Personnel Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma, possess at least 2 years of experience, communicate effectively in English, work cooperatively in an interfaith setting, have experience with Catholic programs and volunteer-based RE programs, be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software, and furnish a resume with references.
