Additional Notes
Clarifications indicate that approximately 90% of the work involves removing and replacing existing cabling, with some new drops in specific areas. The government prefers ivory for faceplates/jacks, aqua for OM4 MM fiber, blue for NIPR Cat-6, and red for SIPR Cat-6. Non-plenum cabling is acceptable for general office spaces. The contractor is responsible for providing independent storage for materials. All unused copper cabling must be removed from the building. Eight SIPR drops are to be replaced.
