Scope of Work

The lodging facility must be located within 15 miles of USCG Port Security Unit 309, Erie Industrial Park, Bldg. 360, Port Clinton, OH 43452. All rooms must be non-smoking. Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours prior to check-in.

Facility Requirements
Facilities must meet the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 and minimally meet Three Diamonds for the American Automobile Association (AAA) or equivalent. Room entrances must be accessible only by internal hallways with locked exterior doors, and internal hallways must be accessible from a facility lobby manned 24/7.
Special Requirements
The Government is exempt from taxes and will only pay for items/services on the purchase order. Individual Coast Guard members are responsible for personal charges (e.g., telephone, premium TV, internet, room service, laundry). A room assignment list will be provided 5 days prior to check-in, and the contractor must provide confirmation of rooms to authorized personnel upon reservation. Final invoice and folio must be provided to Unit Berthing Coordinators via email.
