• Per Diem Rates: Compliance with GSA lodging per diem rates for Port Clinton, OH, is required. Rates above per diem will not be considered.

• Liability: The Government does not anticipate additional liability or indemnification requirements beyond standard commercial terms for lodging providers. Providers are expected to maintain appropriate commercial liability insurance and comply with industry practices.

• Distance for Lodging: The search distance for lodging has been expanded from 15 miles to 20 miles from Port Clinton, OH, due to the limited availability of three-diamond AAA properties. The Statement of Work (SOW) has been revised to reflect this change.

• Incumbent: This is a new requirement, and there is no incumbent performing these services.

• The SOW has been revised to expand the lodging search distance to 20 miles. Bidders should refer to the updated SOW for this requirement.

• The lodging facility must be located within 20 miles of USCG Port Security Unit 309, Erie Industrial Park, Bldg. 360, Port Clinton, OH 43452.

• All rooms must be non-smoking.

• Period 1: July 10, 2026 – July 11, 2026 (1 night)

• Facilities must meet the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990.

• Facility must minimally meet Three Diamonds for the American Automobile Association (AAA) or equivalent.

• Room entrances must be accessible only by internal hallways.

• Internal hallways must have locked exterior doors, accessible by key-holding guests only.

• Internal hallways must be accessible from the facility lobby.

• The facility lobby must be manned by a front desk attendant 24/7.
