Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the initial installation, configuration, and continuing annual monitoring of two Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) in classified workspaces within Building 80 and the leased hangar at USCG ALC. Key requirements include:
- Installation and configuration of DMP XR-550 panels with Keypads.
- Installation of High Security Switches (HSS) or Balanced Magnetic Switches (BMS) on all perimeter doors and windows.
- Installation of motion detectors for complete coverage.
- Installation of a Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) system with a minimum of 30-days continuous video recording. A localized, not-on-network NVR is acceptable.
- Installation of external audible alarms and associated antennas for cellular communication.
- Integration of IDS with existing security protocols, including access control systems compliant with HSPD-12.
- Provision and installation of backup power systems (UPS or generator connection) for at least 24 hours of continuous operation. UPS connected to main power can run off the emergency generator.
- Systems must meet UL-634 Level II standards and be monitored 24 hours a day by an authorized UL monitoring station. UL Certification for both spaces, including annual inspections, is required.
- Contractor personnel must be OEM qualified and trained.
