Scope of Work
The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation to perform work on dams within the Hoosier, Huron-Manistee, Mark Twain, Monongahela, Shawnee, Wayne, and White Mountain National Forests. Key tasks include:
- Installation of new EWS and rain gauges.
- Repair and upgrade of existing EWS.
- Relocation of EWS.
- Servicing, cleaning, and calibration of rain gauge sensors. Performance standards require EWS to collect and transmit water level and rainfall data via satellite or cellular, enable remote real-time monitoring, send instant email/text alarms, and operate on solar power with battery backup in NEMA 4x/6P enclosures.
