Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide on-site shredding services using a mobile vehicle capable of destroying various materials, including paper, photographs, fax, microfilm, microfiche, video, film, cassette tapes, CD/DVD, and flash drives. Shredding must meet industry standards for cross-cut or double-cut destruction, ensuring no information can be extracted. The prime contractor must be NAID certified for paper/printed media destruction and maintain liability insurance.
Services include providing five (5) secure, wheeled, lockable 65-gallon bins (200lb capacity) for material collection. Services will be provided bimonthly, with additional unscheduled services for record purges. The contractor is responsible for secure transportation of Personal Identifying Information (PII) from pickup to the on-site destruction point. All operations will be escorted by facility staff, and on-site vehicle inspections are required upon request.
