Scope of Work
The project requires the demolition and replacement of three existing windows in Chapel Building 912. This includes:
- Front of Chapel: Demolish two existing wood-framed windows and replace them with new double-pane, insulated curtain wall systems. This includes installing new windows, flashing, and matching existing trim. Existing stained glass will be removed, stored, and reinstalled in a bronze U-channel. Damaged drywall must be repaired and painted.
- Rear of Chapel: Demolish one existing window and replace it with a new tinted, double-pane, insulated storefront window and flashing, featuring Solar Gray Tinted Window Glass. Existing masonry will be cleaned and repointed.
- General Requirements: Repoint masonry at the front of the chapel. All work must comply with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), International Building Code (IBC), ASTM E1105, International Energy Conservation Code, and Shaw AFB Standards.

Attendance is mandatory for prime contractors, and escorts will not be provided. Offerors must bring required PPE and equipment for rooftop access. - Submittals: Required submittals include detailed shop drawings, frame and glass samples, DD Form 1354, and daily RAKEN reports with pictures. Contractors must also adhere to the Schedule of Material Submittals (Attachment 7) and provide progress reports (Attachment 5) and schedules (Attachment 6).

- Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is responsive and most advantageous to the Government, considering price, technical capability, and past performance. Quotes will be evaluated without discussions.
- Amendments: Amendments 0001 and 0002 have been issued, adding/modifying numerous FAR/DFARS clauses, including those related to payment (WAWF, progress payments), Buy American, and performance/payment bonds. Amendment 0002 also added/modified several attachments and extended the offer receipt date (the latest explicit due date remains May 8, 2026).
