Contract Details

Minimum insurance coverage is required for Workmen's Compensation, Employer's Liability, General Liability, and Comprehensive Automobile Liability.
Key Requirements / Deliverables
Dredging can be performed using either a clamshell or hydraulic cutterhead dredger (hydraulic must have a minimum 16-inch diameter pipeline and 1,800 horsepower). The contractor must hire a 3rd party for fish monitoring, water quality monitoring, and hydrographic survey. A Dredging Plant & Equipment Schedule and a Dredging Quality Management (DQM) system are required. Environmental controls, including dredge material placement site preparation and management, are also critical.
