Quick Summary
The Department of the Army is soliciting quotes for Shock Data Recorders and Accelerometers to measure impact shock and vibration forces during Aerial Delivery (AD) operations. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for new commercial supplies, with award based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotes are due by March 12, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement includes various test instrumentation sensors and associated equipment:

It must also support time-sync for 4 DAQs, standalone recording, real-time streaming, and NIST calibration traceability. The IP67 rating is critically required.
- Cables: DAS 6-channel sensor cable assembly (2ft) and 3-channel sensor extension cables (15ft).
- Triaxial Piezoresistive Accelerometers: NIST traceable, IP67 rated, with 7-inch cables, specific excitation voltage, and thru-hole mounting.
- DS-4 Rack: Capable of downloading a minimum of 4 DAQs simultaneously.
- Interface Device Cable Kit: For DAQ to computer interface via Ethernet, including power supply and connectors for IRIG, GPS, and daisy-chaining.
