Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services for the Smithville Lake Project Office (Litton Visitor Center) and Maintenance Facility. This includes maintaining facilities in a clean and well-maintained condition as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Additionally, the contractor will perform trash and litter collection services at various Smithville Lake access points, including picking up ground litter and emptying/cleaning trash cans. The Longview Visitor Center has been removed from the scope.
Services must adhere to specific schedules: janitorial after 4:30 p.m. but before 11:00 p.m., and trash/litter collection between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. For April-October, Monday litter collection for Access Points 1-32 must be completed within a single day, covering approximately 40 miles. From November-March, "every other Monday" trash service applies to all access points and the dam/administration area.
The Government will provide keys, toilet tissue, paper towels, plastic liners, cleaning chemicals, and refuse containers/dumpsters. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all other necessary equipment and supplies, including vehicles for trash collection.
