Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, specifically ACC-APG Natick, has issued a Sources Sought notice to identify potential non-traditional and traditional defense contractors for prototype projects related to a Portable Oxygen Generator System (POGS). This effort will be conducted under Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs). The POGS is critical for providing oxygen and compressed air in deployed medical settings. Pre-proposals are due by February 27, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This Sources Sought aims to identify industry partners capable of developing a POGS that can supply sufficient 93% oxygen and compressed air at 50 PSI. The system must support operating room anesthesia devices, patient ventilators, and be able to fill high-pressure oxygen cylinders for patient transport and backup. All proposed systems must meet the detailed Critical Operational Device Specifications (CODS), Critical Logistical Specifications, and Additional Performance Parameters outlined in Attachment 0001 - CODS_POGS.pdf.
