Key Requirements

• Product Specifications: Manufacture of SPRING,FLAT per Cage Code 53711, reference 5762142.
• Marking: Items must be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012.
• Testing:
  • Production Lot Approval (Government Testing): Required, with 100% inspection. All units to be delivered to NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER INDIAN HEAD EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL TECHNOLOGY DIVISION for testing.
  • First Article Test/Inspection (Government): Required. Five units to be delivered to NSWC Indian Head EOD Technology Center for testing, with the Government having 90 days for inspection. A Test/Inspection Report is required.
  • Non-Magnetic Testing: Not required for this material.
• Quality Assurance: Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, maintaining records for 365 days.
• Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 applies.
• Material Certifications: All vendors must submit Material Certificates of Conformance (C of Cs) for First Article and Production Lot Testing materials. Material Certs are part of the overall acceptance criteria.
• Dimensional Requirements: All material items must pass dimensional requirements per the Technical Drawing package. Requests for variance (Waiver/Deviation) must be submitted via DD Form 1694.

3. Supplier Performance Risk: As described in DFARS 252.204-7024.
