Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure vaults and septic equipment in the Sitka Ranger District remain safe, sanitary, and fully operational throughout the open season, complying with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

• Provide vault pumping services at multiple sites within the Sitka Ranger District.

• Waterless Sweet Smelling Toilet (SST) Vaults: Inspect equipment, pump SST vaults identified as full within 14 days of COR notification. After pumping, spray sides and bottom with water, pump out wash water, and backfill with 100 gallons of fresh water.

• Environmental and Property Protection: Do not rinse trucks or equipment on National Forest System lands. Dispose of waste products off-site. Repair any damage to Government property at contractor's expense.

• Over and Above Work (O&AW): Work not covered by standard tasks requires a written request with detailed information for CO authorization.

• Acceptable Performance: 95% of the requirement satisfied, with no more than 2 valid customer complaints per month for Vault Pumping Services. Zero deviations from the performance standard for Over and Above Work.

• Remedy for Defective Services: Rework within 24 hours at no cost to the Government.
