This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure one (1) T-158LL Track Shoe and Pin Assembly Press for the Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Rubber Products Branch. The press is used to insert rubberized pin bushings into track shoe assemblies for tracked military vehicles. This announcement is the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.

• Manufacture and supply one (1) T-158LL Track Shoe and Pin Assembly Press.

• Fabrication and assembly must be in accordance with RRAD drawings 12387879 Revision A, 2033577, and 2033591.

• The contractor shall identify and supply a suitable hydraulic power unit.

• The press must demonstrate successful performance in fabricating and assembling track shoes.

• The Government will provide engineering drawings, track parts for testing, and guidance on typical operation.

• Contractor may deviate from drawings with prior Government approval.

• The equipment must comply with various standards including OSHA, NEC, and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws.

• All parts must be interchangeable and available commercially within the continental United States.

• Controls must be conveniently located for the operator.

• The equipment must be constructed of new, defect-free parts.

• Surfaces must be clean and free of harmful materials; edges should be rounded unless sharpness is required.

• Measuring and indicating devices must be graduated in U.S. Customary Units and legibly engraved.

• The equipment must be designed for maintainability with minimal tools.

• A one (1) year warranty against defective materials, design, and workmanship is required.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price - requirements type.

• Period of Performance: Delivery is FOB destination no later than ten (10) months after contract award.
