Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform a system groom for the OWS (Oily Water Separator) from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

• Provide services of an OEM field services technical representative to inspect and test the oily water separators and associated oil content monitors.

• Inspect and clean oily water inlet/outlet and clean water inlet/outlet valves, replacing as required.

• Test system relief valves and check pressure gauges for proper operation and calibration.

• Clean the separator using specified flushing guidelines and ensure removal of accumulated solids and sludge.

• Clean the oil sensing probe.

• Verify proper operation of the Oily Content Detector (OCD) and provide a current verification certificate (if internet is available, otherwise within five days post-service).

• Conduct Ultra-Sep clean using specified guidance.

• Operate Ultra-Sep (OWS) and record readings on the Service Report.

• Coordinate with ship's force for equipment lock-out/tag-out procedures.

• Drain and dispose of any liquid in accordance with all applicable laws.

• Prepare, prime, paint, and restore all disturbed surfaces to match surrounding areas.

• Renew lagging where damaged or disturbed.

• All work must be completed to the satisfaction of the OMT REP and Chief Engineer.

• Prove proper operation of the oily water separators to OMT REP, ensuring oil content in product water is less than 15 ppm.

• Submit condition reports detailing deficiencies, recommended repairs, and parts required.

• Submit a report detailing the "as released" condition of the Oil Content Monitor.

• Provide a final detailed condition report of conditions found, work accomplished, and new recommendations.

• Work to be performed on a ship located at Auxiliary Machinery Room (6-108-0).

• The estimate includes testing the oil content monitor while the ship is underway, as most ports do not allow pier-side operation.

• Contractor and subcontractors must consult the General Technical Requirements (GTRs) 1-7, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29.
