The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, requires comprehensive services for medical gases and cylinder rentals. This includes the provision, filling, transportation, handling, servicing, maintenance, delivery, pickup, and storage of various medical gases (e.g., Carbon Dioxide, Helium, Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen) and associated cylinders. All gases must meet United States Pharmacopoeia/National Formulary (USP) standards, and cylinders must comply with all applicable FDA, CGA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor will manage both contractor-provided and Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) cylinders.
