Scope of Work
The VAARNG is seeking vendors capable of providing Class 3 Dental Treatments for Soldiers, as identified by VAARNG. These services are outlined in Army Techniques Publication (ATP) 4-02.19 and Appendix 1. Treatments include, but are not limited to:
- Acute gingivitis or pericoronitis
- Active progressive, moderate, or advanced periodontitis
- Periodontal abscess and progressive mucogingival conditions
- Heavy subgingival calculus
- Edentulous areas or teeth requiring immediate prosthodontic treatment
- Unerupted, partially erupted, or malposed teeth recommended for removal
- Chronic oral infections or other pathologic lesions (e.g., pulpal, periapical, resorptive pathology)
- Emergency situations requiring therapy for pain, trauma, or acute oral infections
- Acute temporomandibular disorders
- Teeth with initiated root canal therapy. Services will typically be performed at the contractor's professional office, adhering to Federal/State Regulations.
